Plenty of points for Trident at Spielberg FRECA round

Trident secured a full bag of points in the Spielberg FRECA Round 7. In the two races held at the Red Bull Ring circuit, which marked the return of the championship after the summer break, the drivers of Maurizio Salvadori’s team, directed on track by Luca Zerbini, were constantly protagonists in the two days of the races.

In Race 1, Roman Bilinski conquered the 7th position, Owen Tangavelou achieved the 10th place, while Nikhil Bohra finished 12th. Race 2 instead, saw all the three drivers score points, with Bohra excellent 5th, Tangavelou 6th and Bilinski 9th.

A great result for the team, gained after two strong qualifying sessions. Overall, in Spielberg Trident collected a total of 23 points: a good omen in view of the home event, in Monza, which will take place next weekend.

Roman Bilinski:

“Overall it was a very solid weekend. We got points in both races, which is really positive. It’s nice for all of us, and also for my teammates to be in the points as well. I think it’s a very good result for the team’s championship and we made a big step forward, so we’re really looking forward to next week in Monza. Hopefully we can get some more points and push for the last three rounds of the season. Thanks very much to Trident”.

Nikhil Bohra:

“I think we put in a lot of work over the summer break so we could analyze everything. We came to this race weekend with a lot in mind and I think we were able to implement it. We had a very strong car and the three of us all scored points, so I’m quite happy about that. Big congrats to the boys for the points we got in the team’s championship and also for the steps forward. Hopefully we can carry these results forward for the rest of the season”.

Owen Tangavelou:

“I’m happy with the points finish, it was a great weekend overall and we had a lot of pleasure here. The car was quite better than the first half of the season. I thank Trident for the work done and I hope that in Monza we can improve more and get even further in the classification”.
